Pricing
All prices for items displayed include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current government rate. The actual price of the item is displayed clearly and will be confirmed at the time of order.
In rare circumstances, for example due to changes in the cost of materials, the price of an item may change between our acceptance of your order and delivery. In this case or in the event of human error or technological malfunction, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue you with a full refund. In the case that goods have been dispatched at an incorrect price, we reserve the right for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery to correct the sale price. In the very unlikely event of this happening, we will offer you the option of paying the difference between the actual and charged amounts or, at our cost, to return the goods for a full refund.
Payment
For transactions up to £500.00, you can safely make your purchase online by credit or debit card, through our card payment provider, RBS Worldpay. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and click on the Checkout button to proceed to the secure Worldpay site.
In addition to Worldpay, we also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer. Goods will be dispatched once payment has cleared.
Our bank details are as follows:
Name of account: Christopher Milton Stevens Limited
Account no: 91319617
Sort-code: 60-02-05
For transactions over £500.00, or if you wish to pay by cheque or bank transfer, please call us.
Delivery
All orders are processed promptly and, for standard items, if the stock is available, dispatched within 3 to 5 working days of receiving the order. If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order within the normal timescales, we will contact you with details of when the item will be available and offer you the option of cancelling your order with a full refund.
Items are delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery and are fully insured in transit. The Special Delivery Service is not normally affected by postal strikes. Packages are guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the day after being dispatched, but please note that the delivery time may occasionally be slightly delayed. We will email you to let you know when your order has been dispatched, with the Special Delivery Reference Number. You can then track the progress of your delivery at http://track.royalmail.com
We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.
In the event that you need to return an item to us for any reason, it is your responsibility to ensure that the item is delivered securely. CMS Ltd will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments.
Guarantee
All purchases from CMS are fully guaranteed against manufacturing faults for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. The CMS guarantee does not cover any damage that is due to accidental damage, wear and tear or misuse. Your guarantee will be invalidated if you or any other persons carry out repairs or any form of alteration work on the item.
Returns
All jewellery sold by CMS is manufactured to the highest quality and we are sure you will be delighted with your purchase.
If, however, an item received is faulty, damaged in any way, or different to the item ordered, please contact us within seven days of the date of delivery. We will pay for the item to be returned to us and offer you the choice of having the item repaired, replaced or a full refund, providing the goods are returned in the condition sold and with all the accompanying documentation. Any refund issued will be by the same method of payment as the original transaction. You will be responsible for the security of the item until it is received by CMS, so we strongly recommend that items are returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you contact us more than seven days after the date of delivery, we may still be able to offer exchange of the goods at the sole discretion of CMS Ltd, but not a refund.
Please call before returning items. Any unauthorised, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender.
Please note that bespoke items, commissions and other goods that are made to order and items that have been altered or personalised at your request are non-refundable, but we will either repair or replace them depending on the item and nature of the problem. Earrings for pierced ears are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless faulty or different to the item ordered.
Should you change your mind about a design or would like alterations made after an item has been received, please contact CMS and we will be happy to provide you with a quotation for the additional work. Our prices are very reasonable and are based on the materials used and time taken to carry out the work.
When purchasing rings, please make sure that you obtain an accurate finger size before placing your order. If a ring received does not fit correctly, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the details. For gemstone set rings and any special orders, commissions, personalised or altered rings, it is usually possible to re-size the ring up or down by up to 2 sizes, depending on the design. There is a nominal charge to cover the work, materials, insurance and postage back to you.
Our returns policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. For further information on your statutory rights, please see www.consumerdirect.gov.uk

Design folder fees and all deposits are non-refundable.
